We’re wearing it pink for Breast Cancer Now

October is breast cancer awareness month

No 11 The Salon are supporting Wear it Pink for Breast Cancer Now on Saturday 21st October. We will be dressing in pink with lots of pink themed games, a raffle and prizes. Please help us support this charity by dropping in before the event and donating.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a worldwide annual campaign involving thousands of organisations, to highlight the importance of breast awareness, education and research. The charity Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, created by the merger of Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Money raised by Breast Cancer Now helps fund research in four key areas – risk and prevention, early detection and diagnosis, treatment and secondary breast cancer. We believe this approach to research will allow us to achieve our ambition and stop breast cancer taking lives. If we are to meet our ambition that by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live, then we need to make sure we fund the most impactful research.

Come into No11 this month and take part in our fundraising raffle and other games – there are some fab prizes on offer! And remember to come in on 21st to see us all in pink!
